“Community Fees”
Since 1st January 2022, I have declined several impersonal demands - including with threats of legal action - to pay enormous invoices for so-called “Community Fees”, claimed to be an obligation corresponding to my ownership of real estate within the bounds of Costa Natura. I am not yet convinced that any payment of any fee has been legitimately required of any owner of real estate within those bounds (at least, throughout the period of my co-ownership), for reasons described below.
Despite paying all so-called “Community Fees” demanded of me throughout 2020 and 2021, no meeting (nor other form of communication amongst co-owners) has been permitted by any of the individuals who have asserted power (despite that Spanish law was already compatible with telematic communications) at which I could ask any questions to my co-owners. Neither of two so-called “general meetings” of owners in 2022 conformed to the Law of Spain; both were directed by Ildefonso Ortega (who - in addition to his own person - operates as non-natural legal entity triplets, I suspect for the purpose of concealing clientelistic behaviours: AMMEX CONSULTAE S.L. NIF: B-93348902; LEGAL SERVICE COSTA DEL SOL S.L.P. NIF B-67887158 and AMMEX ADMINISTRACIONES S.l. CIF B-92268747).
On 30th January 2023, I received notification (from an AMMEX etc. collaborator who occupies the Reception Building of Costa Natura), that AMMEX etc. had sent a registered burofax correspondence to my addresss in Spain. This was strange, since representatives of AMMEX etc. know that I do not reside in Spain and they also know that my preferred method of correspondence is by email and WhatsApp. Following a protracted email exchange, in which nonsensical excuses were made (for example, that AMMEX etc. was incapable of opening a letter that it, itself, had sent), an employee of AMMEX etc. provided a letter to me by email on 2nd February 2023. The employee of AMMEX etc. appears to have inadvertently copied and pasted the instructions of her instructor (Ildefonso Ortega): “In an email without backgroud, new, write him and tell him the following (with blind copy to the president, Thim and me), thanks (if he asks you if this was in the Burofax, do not answer).”
It appears that the purpose of sending a registered snail-mail correspondence to my property in Spain (to where I have requested not to receive correspondence) may have been for the purpose of producing some legal effect and not for the purpose of corresponding with me; it may even have been for the purpose of intentionally faking an attempted correspondence with me. It is also interesting that the pdf letter from AMMEX etc. (which I received by email on 2nd February 2023) is dated 24th January 2023 and includes a threat of legal action commencing “in 5 days”.
In response to the above circumstances, I sent a letter to AMMEX etc. (by instant, electronic, registered burofax) on 7th February 2023. In addition, I blind-copied more than 100 email addresses which might correspond to my co-owners. As of (updated: September 2023), I await any response from AMMEX etc.
